Before You Ask

The Short and Simple Version of How This Got Started

Before you ask, let me share the short and simple version of how this blog got started.

Sitting in the Lyft on the way to another first date, I decided to interject some humor into the situation and text J and R.

​

"First date #4125. Still, have yet to find intelligent life on this planet. The male species seems to be particularly afflicted with the idiot gene."

 

R- Sends laugh emojis, "but you and J could write a book and make millions! (I may have to contribute a little)."

 

Me- OMG! We should! And call it "Life on this planet. Dating after 40"

J- Do it!!!

 

So there you go. However, in lieu of a book, a blog became the artistic medium of choice for me.

So, J & R- This is for you! (Kind of weird to dedicate a blog I know, but who cares! I mean, I am the one writing it)
